About
Cassie Pierino graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology in 2016 (Go Gators!). While at UF she volunteered with a Special Olympics Young Athletes Program where she found her love of working with children of varying abilities and learned about occupational therapy.
Cassie received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in November of 2019. She completed a 3 month pediatric rotation doing inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in WPB, where she worked with children from 6 months-21 years, which solidified her desire to work in pediatrics. In addition to her work at Palm Beach SOS, Cassie currently works full-time at a charter school for autistic students. Her passion is finding the strengths of all of her clients and using that to build relationships and fun during therapy sessions.
